Warranty & Repair Policy – MY PHONE

At MY PHONE, we offer a workmanship warranty of up to 12 months, provided that the gadget has not been handled, opened, or repaired by any other vendor after our last service. The warranty for replaced parts is separate but remains subject to this condition. Our warranty applies only to the same repair and fault.

For devices with physical damage or identified hardware issues, there is a possibility that components functioning intermittently may stop working entirely during diagnosis or repair. In such cases, MY PHONE will not be liable for returning the device in the exact partial working condition it was received in. While we do not interfere with parts not reported as faulty, we will inform you of any additional issues we discover.

As per company policy, a visit charge of INR 299.00 applies during the warranty period.

Our warranty covers service issues resolved and parts replaced (both original & compatible) by MY PHONE. However, it does not cover any breakage or water damage occurring after the device has been returned to the customer. Repairs on water-damaged phones do not carry any warranty.

All repaired devices will be held for a maximum of 15 days. If the customer does not claim the repaired device within this period, MY PHONE will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

Questions and Answers

To avail of the warranty, customers must send a short video of the phone along with details of the issue to our official WhatsApp number: +91 7621 065 625. Once the necessary details are provided and all prerequisites are met, the warranty will be granted.

 

After a warranty claim is initiated, the MY PHONE team will take approximately 48-72 hours to resolve the issue. However, the resolution time may vary depending on the complexity of the case. Alternatively, customers can visit our service center to avail of the warranty.

Note:

  • Warranty services are available only in company serviceable territories.
  • To prevent data loss during repairs, customers are strongly advised to back up all important data before the repair process.

At MY PHONE, we use only high-quality screens and spare parts, ensuring that you won’t feel the need to replace them again. Before finalizing the replacement, our technician will show you the new screen or spare part and allow you to test it. If you are not satisfied, we will not proceed with the replacement.

 

Additionally, if you experience any touch issues after a screen replacement or mobile phone functionality issues after a spare part replacement, we offer a 6-month warranty.

 

Please note: We do not have a money refund policy.

Yes, MY PHONE provides a 30-day to 180-day warranty on replaced parts.

  • The warranty applies only to the replaced parts and covers defects not caused by physical or water damage after the repair.
  • This warranty does not cover accidental damage, mishandling, or issues unrelated to the replaced part.

Rescheduling your repair appointment is hassle-free! You can reschedule anytime by informing us at least 1 hour before your scheduled time. Simply provide your preferred time and location, and we will adjust your repair request accordingly.

 

If you choose to cancel your request, a visit charge of ₹199 will apply.

At MY PHONE, our team strives to resolve issues within 24 hours to 10 days, depending on the complexity of the case. You will receive acknowledgment of your request, and our team will work diligently to close your queries as soon as possible.

We offer a 30-day to 6-month warranty on spare part replacements. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not include damage caused by manual intervention or mishandling.

 

Important Note: The warranty applies only to the repaired or replaced part. For example, if the phone’s speaker is replaced, the warranty covers the speaker only and not any other components.

The following conditions are not covered under the MY PHONE repair warranty:

  • Display Issues: Any kind of display issue will not be considered under warranty.
  • Non-Working Parts: If you do not hand over the non-working mobile part to the MY PHONE technician, the warranty will be limited to 3 months.
  • Additional Hardware Damage: If other components of the mobile are damaged and the phone refuses to turn on or function properly.
  • Unsuccessful Repair Attempts: If the phone is partially working after a failed repair attempt at home or by any other vendor.
  • Manufacturing/Performance Issues: If the phone model has a known manufacturer defect affecting the screen’s performance.
  • Frame Damage: If the mobile’s frame is bent, cracked, or damaged.
  • Jailbroken Devices: If the mobile has been jailbroken or modified.
  • Tampered Internal Hardware: If the internal components have been tampered with, especially through self-repair attempts.
  • Negligence or Intentional Damage: Phones that have been damaged negligently or intentionally will not be covered.
  • Previous Repairs by Other Vendors: The warranty does not apply if the device was previously repaired or tampered with by anyone other than MY PHONE.
  • Non-Transferable Warranty: The warranty is valid only for the specific device repaired and the original customer. It cannot be transferred to another person or device.
  • Battery Warranty Exclusions: Warranty on batteries is not valid in cases of:
    • Excessive charging
    • Battery swelling
    • Overnight charging
    • Use of non-OEM chargers, cables, or adapters
  • Subsequent Mishandling:
    • If the frame bends, twists, or cracks after the repair.
    • If the screen is mishandled (e.g., hard pressing), causing discoloration or lining.
  • Internal Screen Damage: The warranty does not cover:
    • Flickering, blank screens, black spots, colorful spots, or color spread.
    • Visible horizontal or vertical lines in the display.
  • Software Issues: Any software-related issues that are not linked to the original repair.
  • New Damages: Any new damage that is unrelated to the original repair.
